He isn’t that good-looking lah, I mean maybe below average? Will you be like slightly scared of some comments your friends will make? Maybe they won’t tell you; maybe they’ll talk among themselves. Maybe your friends are angels and they only say it in their hearts. Ask yourself lor.

SIAO, you think I want to choose guys for MR WORLD right?! HAHA! Some important things that I feel guys should look out for (in my eyes) will be, posture lor.
To me, I think that posture is important. I don’t like guys who hunch back or those who can actually walk properly but are not conscious of how they walk. When you hunch back, you’ll look so much shorter lor, I don’t like.
Sometimes, I notice how a guy walks and I kinda guess how he is like. Maybe I’m not correct every other time lah, but walking the right way with the right posture is always nice to look at and it’s more presentable. When a guy doesn’t walk properly, I get somewhat irritated cuz I will feel that with a little push, he sure fall down. He gives me an impression that he’s weak lor.
And I think it’s important for guys to maintain their image in front of girls. I’m not asking you to be pretentious. I don’t know how to explain. I’m not asking you to please the girls or whatsoever. I just don’t know how to explain. HAHA! Maybe I’ll know how to later.
I like guys like XiaoHan cuz the way he walks and everything. It’s just nice to look at. Even if people mistaken him to be my boyfriend, I also happy. LOL! Eh don’t be mistaken. LOL! Example nia. It’s just a posture thing, like some sense of security and confidence lah. Don’t know how to explain. I think girls will know what I’m trying to say.
Height. HAHAHA! I like tall guys. You go ask every girl, they’ll say they like tall guys. HAHA! Tall and lean for me. I don’t like too skinny, too muscular or fat. HAHA!!! Yeah, again like XiaoHan. Eh… let me think of other examples… Lionel lor. I think he’s 175. XiaoHan is 178. HAHA!!! I tell you ah, 175 above is always ideal. LOL! To me, okay, to me.
So what’s with posture and height? Security lor. Yeah man, girls are the most evil creatures on earth. HAHAHA! For example, you walk with a guy, 165m, skinny and fair, likes to slouch… how you feel ah? I’ll feel that he can’t even protect himself. I think both physical and emotional security are important, but I think emotional is more important lah.
Actually, shorter guys like 170 like that also okay. But I’m just particular about how they walk. For example, Jerry isn’t very tall what. But when I’m with him, it just feels different from the other guys who’re of the same height. Lucky Victoria. HAHA!!!
If your boyfriend can’t even carry you, how you feel ah? When he does that, what if you can feel his bones shaking as if they’re gonna break any time soon? WAH LAU, sad right? I said before; a boyfriend is everything, punching bag, stress reliever, parents, siblings, tutor… what if you whack him once and fell? AHMAGAD right?! HAHA I’m saying this on an extreme case basis. LOL

Speaking about emotional security; I was talking to Kuan Teng a few days back about clubbing thing. If my boyfriend wants to go clubbing hor, he needs to assure me that he won’t do this and that. Then I’ll feel more safe, but not 100% safe. Maybe about 70%? Why? Cuz I don’t trust the environment, but I trust my boyfriend. I know he won’t touch or even look at other girls.
But we know that, some girls are so damn despo right? Suddenly, she drunk and she grabbed your boyfriend. Well, you boyfriend, being good-natured and gentlemanly, he must help her what, right?! Yeah lah, no sex, but I still will jealous. HUR HUR. HAHA! I think trust is very important in a relationship lor. If no trust, I don’t need to talk to my guy friends ever again! HAHAHA! If I can’t even talk to XiaoHan, I will break up with my boyfriend. HAHAHA! No lah, I’ll try and make him understand.
I think being able to communicate is also an important aspect; being honest and truthful with your feelings. Sometimes, when I feel like saying I miss my boyfriend, I will say just that. I won’t TRY to say cuz I “pai seh”. For me, I feel that there’s no such thing as “pai seh” in a relationship lor. Of course sometimes, you’ll feel that way, but that’ll be minimal. HAHA I just want to be direct; whatever you want to tell your boyfriend, you just tell him. In this way, you won’t feel like er… shy, shameless or whatnot. For instance, you don’t like it when you boyfriend does something. You keep to yourself without telling him. Things like that are accumulative and dangerous leh. One day, it’ll explode and it’ll be hard to save a relationship lor. That’s what I feel lah. But I admit there’re certain things I never tell my boyfriend and I learnt from it.
Chemistry also important and being able to catch hints! HAHA! I think the first stage of relationship that is important bah. Cuz normally, girls don’t want to initiate cuz we’re afraid that you’ll label us as “shameless”. So, we step back lor. When we step back hor, the guys more stupid, can’t catch hints one. I know lah, guys won’t say that their girlfriends are shameless lah, but sometimes… ARGGGHH… WAH LAU. HAHA! For example ah, a girl is very upset about certain stuffs…
Girl: it’s ok. You don’t have to worry about me. I’ll be fine.
Guy: ok. That’s good.

Guy: yeah.
Girl: then you take bus go home first since it’s so late already. I’ve a straight bus home too.
Guy: Okay then, I’ve to wake up early tomorrow too. You sms me when you reach home okay?
Girl: ok (WHAT THE HELL?! I merely said that nia, you want me to go home myself?! Stupid guy! WAH LAU eh!)
At first, you’d be anticipating his reply, saying that it’s late and he wanted to send you home. When he said that, you’d say, “Actually it’s okay one, really.”
It’s actually not okay lor, REALLY! Aiyah, girls just want you to say it again and again lah; just an assurance. Maybe it’s just me, but AH LEE agrees with me leh! LOL! She was so damn enthusiastic about it!
HAHAHA! And Chin told me that,
“Sometimes, when I feel like I’ve a slight feeling for a guy, I tend to give up. Cuz of expectations. I’m afraid he won’t be able to live up to it. I’m afraid of disappointments.”
I told Chin that we’ve to give others and ourselves a chance to learn. Only through learning, then we can understand each other mah, right Chin? And I hate it when it’s like “NEVER ALMOST HAD YOU” kinda thing. I'm sure you hate it too hor Chin? LOL
And I agree that during this stage, it's damn hurting and irritating.
Humour also important, if not, the relationship damn blend.
Simple things count too. For example…
- An sms/call to start the day
- Sms/call to say good night
- a call asking where you are
- a call asking if you’re safe with your friends
- a call asking what time you’ll go home
- A call telling you that he’s coming to pick you up after you’re done with any outing. Not every time. As in, those late ones like 12am or so already.
- A call/sms to ask if you did well for your paper.
- Sms to ask if you’ve eaten
- Sms to ask if you’re studying
- Call to check what you’re doing
- or even, random calls or msg to tell you that he misses you and stuffs.
Sometimes, we just don’t reply, but when we read that message or receive that call, we just smile, deeply. Especially when it’s late at night; he doesn’t care if he’s tired, he doesn’t care if the taxi fare is gonna kill him, he doesn’t care if fuel prices are going up or whatsoever, wherever you are, he’ll come and pick you home, ensuring that you’re safe. That is so damn sweet, you know? That’s when you feel so damn loved. I think simple things mean a lot.
Cars? Of course girls would prefer their boyfriends to have cars. Materialistic? Nope. If you think this way, you’re wrong. She is only materialistic if she wants you to drive merc, sports car all those. He can have just any normal car, pick you up, and drive you around. It’s a form of security lah. I don’t know if you get what I’m trying to say. It’s just a form of security. This only applies when you're working ok. HAHA!!!
Pay for everything? Materialistic again? Nope. She doesn’t like want you to spend on the most expensive things. For example hor, movies: Your boyfriend pay, you’ll feel like, WAH. Seriously. HAHA! It’s not that you want to eat your boyfriend’s money or what. It’s simple things like that that gives the extra ‘feel’. HAHA! You’ll just feel er… like assured lor. Like… aiyah… don’t know how to explain ah. HAHA! Again, back to security. It’s somewhat financial security, but also not really that. HAHA!!!
Oh! I want my boyfriend to like food, like me!!! HAHA! Then he’ll bring me to a lot of places to eat! Hehehehe!!! I want to go bungee jump!!! HAHAHA!!! I want to take DHL balloon; I want to go Singapore Flyer with my boyfriend! Erm… I want to go ‘SONG OF THE SEA’… erm… I wanna go LUGE!!! I want to go Bukit Timah Hill, go sun-tanning!!! HAHAHA!!! I want to go picnic, I want to go Fly kite, cycling, and so many things… HAHA!!! I like to do outdoor activities with my boyfriend leh, like can bond ah.
If my boyfriend knows how to skate, it’ll be good. LOL! AHMAGAD, my boyfriend is such a genius can. HAHA!!!

I think a guy should respect his girlfriend lor. Doesn’t mean she’s your girlfriend then can anyhow touch lor, must ask permission first can!? HAHA! XD pai seh, I think I’m quite conservative ah, so I kinda mind. Then I think basic respect is important too. I don’t like it when he uses vulgarities on me. I think it’s basic respect bah.
Personal hygiene also!!! Bad breath, BO, dirty nails all these are no-no k? LOL I think it’s important to keep up that image bah, no matter where you go. Not only with your girlfriend lor. sometimes, when your friends have those, it’s very difficult to tell them, right?! HAHA! Chin and me were talking about it also and we asked each other,
“Eh I’ve bad breath not ah?!”
LOL! Super funny. And we talked about who has BO and bad breath. WAH, damn bad lor. HAHAHAHAH XD

Oh and guys with gaming. -____- damn irritating right girls, when your boyfriend chooses gaming over you. It's damn hurting please. Oh well, I'll make sure my boyfriend puts me first. HAHAHA!!! So evil hor. Again, it's just another form of assurance. It's not that you don't want him to play. Sometimes nice words work very well. :) Like, "I'm going to play game now. And I think all guys must be big-hearted also, cannot be so petty. If you promised to do something, do it. If you tell her you’re gonna do this, do it. If you can’t, just say you’re very sorry and do something else that will ease the tension. Just don’t say anything if you know you’re gonna be wishy-washy. I hate it! In short, don’t be too indecisive lah.
Lastly, my boyfriend must know how to dress up also! He doesn’t have to dress up like superstars or whatsoever lah. I mean he must look presentable; neat. HAHA! I don’t know. I think guys can look nice wearing simple clothing like maybe just a T-shirt, pants and slippers/shoes? Polo-T, long-short sleeve shirt? I mean if they know how to wear then good lah. HAHA example ah, hmmm Lionel, Jerry, XiaoHan, KT erm… and you! HAHA!
So fussy hor me?! Aiyah, I said already, DREAM guy. LOLOL!!! Are these traits of a PERFECT person? No lah. There’re sure to be some flaws, but as long as you love them, it’s fine!
And I think, you must be able to see a future with that person, if not just wave bye-bye lor.
